Meet the Staff

Sarah holds a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Northern Illinois University (Dekalb, IL).  She has been fortunate enough to work with a wide variety of other health professionals, including speech and occupational therapists, athletic trainers, massage therapists, MD's and chiropractors.  She has experience in treating patients with strokes, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, and joint replacements.  Taping techniques have been incoporated in some treatments for postural correction, pain reduction and providing stability to hypermobile joints.  Currently she is working toward becoming certified in the McKenzie Technique for treating neck and back pain

 Nicole graduated from Northern Illinois University with her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005.  She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Human Sciences from Northern Illinois University, and an Associate Degree in Science from Rock Valley College.  During her collegiate and professional career she has worked in many different settings, including inpatient, outpatient, subacute and skilled nursing facilities.  She has had the opportunity to work closely with many other health care professionals, including doctors, speech therapists, occupational therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, nurses and certified nursing assistants, athletic trainers and personal trainers.  Her work experience includes orthopedic injuries and joint replacements, strokes, traumatic brain injuries, geriatrics, cardiac conditions, amputations, auto/work related accidents, aquatic therapy, and sports injuries.  Nicole also has experience in physical performance testing/fall assessment testing, the Allen Cognitive Assessment Test, and is currently working toward becoming certified in the McKenzie Technique for treating neck and back pain. 

Heidi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Northern Illinois University.  During her undergraduate studies she worked with high school, junior college and university athletes.  During this time she was responsible for injury prevention, evaluation and treatment of athletes, taping, bracing, hot/cold therapies, the use of modalities and implementing rehab programs.  She also worked with the Golden Eagles Program at Rock Valley College assisting with workout programs and Polar heart rate monitors.  Currently she is working toward becoming certified in the McKenzie Technique for treating neck and back pain.

Heather holds a license in Massage Therapy from CSMT (Chicago School of Massage Therapy).  She has extensive experience in treating patients with low back pain, headaches, carpal tunnel and sciatic nerve pain.

Tami works as a receptionist and as a patient account representative.  Tami has worked in customer service and insurance for over twenty years.  Previously she worked at Rockford Health Systems the Brain and Spine Center at their front desk.  Also she worked for Lundholm Surgical Center in their patient accounts department.  Currently Tami takes care of patient accounts, insurance and also helps out answering phones at the front desk.

Kim works in the insurance/patient accounts department.  She has over 20 years of experience in health insurance claims processing and medical billing.  Including Medicare, Group Health and Self Funded Plans.  Kim graduated from Judson College in 2003.

Chandra works in our insurance/ patient accounts department.  She is currently atteding Rock Valley College for her nursing degree.  She has worked in the insurance business for three years previously at Lundholm Surgical.
